JSJ4 Flow Meter Operating Principle

When pressurized fuel enters the meter chamber from the pump, it acts directly upon four internal reciprocating pistons. The precise volumetric displacement pushes these pistons in a synchronized sequence, converting fluid pressure into smooth rotational torque via a central crankshaft mechanism.

Every complete cycle of the crankshaft corresponds to exactly 0.5 Liters of fluid passed through the meter. This rotational motion is then directly transmitted to either a mechanical register or an electronic pulser for accurate volume computation and display.
