50-100 cbm Liquid Chlorine Horizontal Storage Tank Overviews
Liquid chlorine horizontal storage tanks are pressure vessels used for storing liquid chlorine, widely applied in fields such as chemical engineering, water treatment, and pharmaceuticals. The main structure consists of a horizontal cylinder with elliptical heads at both ends. The design can be executed in accordance with either the rules-based design of GB/T 150-2024 or the analysis-based design of GB/T 4732-2024. Depending on the climate characteristics of the installation site and the actual operating temperature of the medium, Q345R steel plate (applicable for -20°C) or 16MnDR steel plate (applicable for -40°C) can be selected.
The double-containment tank used for storing toxic media (liquid chlorine, hydrogen fluoride, methyl chloride, ethylene oxide, etc.) features a jacketed structure. It prevents leakage from polluting the environment through a dual-protection design. A leakage detection system can be installed between the inner and outer tanks to ensure that the outer tank can still safely contain the leaked substance if the inner tank fails, gaining maximum time for emergency response. No specific design parameters are predetermined.
Note: Customizing is generally based on customer specifications.
